Thieves accidentally alert cops, run away

One of three stooges was arrested in the capital’s Toul Kork district on Wednesday after the trio unsuccessfully attempted to rob a man of his motorbike at gunpoint.

Police said the three, on two motos, followed the would-be victim and attempted to get him to give up his wheels by shooting into the air.

However, police arrived on the scene and a chase ensued, though only one suspect was apprehended. Police are still searching for his friends.
