Three men take down jewellery shop, escape

An early morning jewel heist in Takeo’s Tram Kak district left a shopkeeper shaken and silent on Sunday.

According to police, just as the victim was opening her shop, three men wearing motorcycle helmets burst in, told the woman – at gunpoint – to keep quiet, and grabbed as much jewellery and money as they could, then fled the scene.

Police said that they still did not know the amount stolen because the victim hadn’t made a report, presumably because she was too afraid. DEUM AMPIL
