No one likes a teacher’s pet, it seems. Good grades, answering questions, the list of crimes is seemingly endless.

And it was for those crimes that a pair of underachievers took out their frustrations on Tuesday in Kratie town.

Police said the duo, classmates of the shining star in question, followed him as he walked home and attacked him with a “samurai sword”.

Luckily, he escaped with only minor injuries and reported the two to police, who made the arrest.

They fessed up, saying his studying made them look bad.
