Tourist sees the bad side of Kingdom in Kampot

The riverside idyll of Kampot was rudely shattered for one Israeli tourist when her bag was snatched just a few steps outside her guesthouse.

Standing on the kerb on Wednesday, the visitor’s satchel was ripped away by two suspects on a moped who gunned it away from the scene.

The victim reported the theft of the purse, along with a passport and $600 inside, to the local police who initiated a search for the culprits.
