Truck stolen in Phnom Penh tracked to Kampong Speu

The main suspect professed to be the victim when police tracked a stolen truck down in Kampong Speu’s Thpong district on Saturday.

The GPS-equipped vehicle was reported missing in Phnom Penh’s Prek Pnov district, and when authorities found it later that day, the man inside claimed he had just made a down payment of $1,000 for it and was waiting for the documents to pay the full $6,000.

Sensing some holes in the alibi, cops took him downtown for a round of questioning.
