A battle between two of Phnom Penh’s most ubiquitous forms of transport – a tuk-tuk and a Toyota Camry – ended predictably in the capital’s Por Sen Chey district on Wednesday.
The tuk-tuk was driving the wrong way down a street when the speeding car smashed into it, sending it careening into a nearby canal.
The car’s driver bolted, leaving police to clean up and take the tuk-tuk driver to hospital with a broken leg. Both drivers were at fault, authorities say.
