A couple of suspected thieves botched a bag snatching in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district on Saturday.

Police said the two were part of a group of four, riding two motorcycles, who had tried to grab the bag of a woman who was riding down the street.

They failed to snag the bag, but succeeded in toppling the victim from her moto.

The suspects sped off, but nearby police blocked the road, slowing one of the motos enough to seize its riders. Their alleged accomplices escaped.
