A capacious-sleeved thief in Poipet town was detained by police for shoplifting on Sunday. The woman entered the victim’s shop and began perusing items in the store.

The shopkeeper then left the shop floor to answer nature’s call, and when she returned, noticed several trinkets were missing.

Accused of granting herself a five-fingered discount, the customer initially pleaded innocence, until neighbours noticed the suspect’s sleeves were stuffed with stock.
