Victim, bystanders chase down two purse thieves

A 20-year-old woman’s moxie – mixed with the bravery of capital bystanders – spelled the end for two bag snatchers who were apprehended yesterday in Sen Sok district.

After following the young lady and pulling away her purse, the suspects were chased by her in return.

They tried stopping their scooter and fleeing on foot, but nearby citizens had other ideas, pouncing on the pair and holding them until authorities arrived.

The satchel was passed back to its intrepid owner and the thieves were carted away for charges.
