Watchful neighbours help cops nab thief

A burglar stole $500 and two phones from a vegetable vendor’s house in the middle of the night yesterday.

The victim woke up at 4am to prepare for work, finding her door ajar and her money missing.

Fortunately, the thief did not remain undetected – neighbours saw him leave the house.

This helped police catch him later yesterday, after the victim filed a complaint.
