Land magnate Okhna Thai Senglong has been arrested in Phnom Penh over allegations of breach of trust after being accused of fraudulently selling a house he didn’t own in 2013, Penal Police Colonel Seng Bunthan said yesterday.

According to Bunthan, the house actually belonged to Senglong’s estranged younger brother. “He was staying in the victim’s house in Boeng Raing commune, but he produced a fake land and house certificate, and sold it to a third party without authorisation from the house’s owner,” Bunthan said.
