Ten dogs trained in Bosnia to sniff out landmines and UXO arrived at Phnom Penh International Airport yesterday.

The dogs, donated through the Norwegian People’s Aid charity, range from 1 to 2 years old and will receive additional training from local Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC) experts before being deployed.

CMAC currently has 34 dogs working in the field, though 12 are set to retire soon.
