Rather than put ring on it, man takes chain off it

Diamonds are normally a girl’s best friend, but in Battambang town on Tuesday they were the source of a most unusual end to a relationship.

According to police, the suspect in the case told his girlfriend that she should wear her diamond necklace to a wedding they were attending because she looked more beautiful in it.

She agreed, but when they left together he drove her to a quiet place and stole the necklace before fleeing into the night.

In the morning, she filed a complaint to police who quickly made an arrest at his house and sent him to court. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
