Acleda banks futsal title by clipping Wing in grand final

Acleda Bank were crowned champions of the 2014 Financial Challenge Cup after beating Wing 4-2 in the final at Beeline Arena yesterday morning.

Goals from Thom Senat and Oun Viputh handed Acleda the lead in the first half. However, Wing struck back in the second stanza with strikes from Sok Samnang and Tep Rany.

Oun Viputh then rounded off his hat-trick to seal victory for the bank team. Last year’s winners Maruhan Japan Bank defeated PricewaterhouseCoopers 3-1 to claim third place.
