Chinese training camp awaits taekwondo duo

Chinese training camp awaits taekwondo duo

National taekwondo star Sorn Sivmey, who claimed bronze at the 2011 SEA Games in Indonesia, and her male team-mate Chey Rithy have been selected to attend a training camp in Suzhou, China, from June 24 to July 2.

The pair have received a scholarship from Chinese authorities, although their flights will be paid for by the Cambodian Taekwondo Federation.

Hem Samnang, CTF general secretary and head coach of the national team, will fly out to China this Friday to participate in training activities before returning to pick up the athletes.
