Arsenal’s 3-0 blowout of Burnley on Saturday was the dominant force of Gameweek 10 in the Cellcard Fantasy League, with two of the Gunners’ summer recruits taking pride of place in the Dream team.

Defender Calum Chambers had endured a relatively subdued season before the weekend. However, the 19-year-old Englishman exploded out of the blocks on Saturday with a goal, assist, clean sheet and three-point bonus to rack up an unrivaled total of 18 fantasy points.

Chambers’ teammate Alexis Sanchez continued his sensational form in his debut campaign in the Premier League, recording his second 16-point tally in as many weeks thanks to another brace and clean sheet. The 25-year-old Chilean midfielder also fired himself to the top of the overall points chart with 70 so far.

The weekly winner of the $20 phone credit prize from Cellcard unsurprisingly featured both Arsenal men in their lineup but made some inspired squad inclusions to become the only manager to smash through the century barrier during the round.

Sea Kolboth with his side Preah Vihear FC***** was worthy of all five stars in the name after collecting 105 points. Kolboth had Sanchez as captain for 32 points along with fellow Dream teamers Chambers (18), West Ham’s Stewart Downing (13) and Chelsea’s Eden Hazard (10).

Kolboth’s backline and midfield were so strong that he could afford to field two strikers (Swansea’s Wilfried Bony and Spurs’ Emmanuel Adebayor) that only scored a point each.

Meanwhile, Cellcard’s concurrently run Facebook competition (on the Cellcard.Fantasy page) heralded another winner of a $10 phone card. Four users were correct in guessing that Man City would be their cross-town rivals United 1-0, although no one also singled out City defender Gael Clichy as the recipient of the three-point performance bonus.

However, Samnang Seng picked out the next best thing, Sergio Aguero who got the two-point bonus, so the prize went to him.

Gameweek 11 will be kicked off this weekend by the stand out clash between Liverpool and Chelsea.
