New MCL club kicks off recruitment for players

Albirex Niigata FC Phnom Penh, the newly created club owned by the eponymous J-League side that is set to debut in the Metfone C-League next year, is holding a trial at 2pm today to find players at Navy Field on Chhroy Changvar peninsular.

“Players who stand out at our tryout will be selected to sign [a] professional contract,” the club said in a press release yesterday.
