Over 3,000 attendees are expected to gather at the 4th GAC on 10-12 November 2018 at the Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra.
Speakers and participants include, leaders and senior executives from governments, civil society, local and multi-national companies, local and international education institutions, business chambers, Embassies, industry experts, entrepreneurs, alumni from around the world, students, parents as well as those interested in exposure to international education.
The GAC consists of three components: the Global Education & Career Expo (free entry), the Global Education & Business Forum (free entry) and the Global Alumni Dinner (ticketed). The Global Alumni Convention series was established in 2015 by IDP Education – a world leader in international education and student placement services.
The GAC is now hosted annually as one of the most prestigious arenas for international education opportunities and business networking in Cambodia.
The Global Alumni Dinner is the social highlight of the whole GAC to network, build partnerships, and celebrate contributions an international education can have at a personal, institutional and country level.
As part of the GAC, the Global Education & Career Expo on 11-12 November at Sofitel will host a wide range of education institutions showcasing world-class study options to students and professionals considering furthering their education overseas as well as local institutions totalling to over 50. Information on study programs, admission requirements, student visa processes and scholarships will be available directly from education representatives, IDP Education’s study abroad counsellors, visa officers and scholarship providers.
“For the fourth year in a row, the Global Education & Career Expo will allow students to travel the world with us, talking to institutions from a variety of international destinations, helping them to consider what study abroad destinations might be right for them. The Global Education & Business Forum will happen concurrently with the Expo featuring interactive panel discussions by policy makers, senior business executives, entrepreneurs, industry experts, and leaders from governments, embassies and civil society.
These high level panel discussions will focus on market-relevant topics and the latest developments to gain insights into Cambodia’s position in the world.
The GAC receives strong support from over 18 business chambers and alumni associations. These communities view the GAC as not only valuable for their members but a wider audience.
