AIRASIA was named the world’s best low-cost airline on Tuesday, July 12, for the eighth year running at the 2016 Skytrax World Airline Awards held at the Farnborough International Airshow in the United Kingdom. The Asian airline also took home Asia’s Best Low-Cost Airline award, and AirAsia X received the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline Premium Cabin and World’s Best Low-Cost Airline Premium Seat for the fourth year running.
