On Saturday May 28, Himawari Hotel apartments hosted the inaugral charity beer event organised by Craft Brewers of Cambodiam, in collaboration with Himawari Microbrewery and Riel Brewing & Distilling Company. Proceeds from the event went to to support PPAWS, or the Phnom Penh Animal Welfare society. Tickets to the event cost $20, and included food and three glasses of craft beer, including Himawari Microbrewery’s Honey Sap, grapefruit pale ale, a hoppy Indian pale ale (IPA), or a Belgian witbier – or wheat beer – from the Riel Brewing & Distilling company.
