The Japan Foundation and the Embassy of Japan, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center organised the Japanese Film Festival, which ended yesterday, at the Major Cineplex (AEON Mall), Legend Cinema (TK Avenue)in Phnom Penh. During the four-day fest, Japanese films selected from a wide range of different categories were screened at the above-mentioned major theatres in the capital. The selection included cartoon, drama and documentary films. Several of the selections were awarded-winning films, portraying various aspects of Japanese life, society and culture.
