Golfing legend Sir Nick Faldo MBE is set to arrive in Phnom Penh as Vattanac Golf Resort – designed by the six-time Major Champion – hosts a Friendship Tournament in his honour on November 18, 2023.

Sir Nick’s illustrious career saw him win six major championships, with three victories at The Masters and three at the British Open, making him one of the most successful golfers of all time.

Throughout his career, Sir Nick spent 97 weeks as the world number 1-ranked player and earned a total of 41 professional wins. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1997.

Both East and West Courses at Vattanac Golf Resort are designed by Sir Nick Faldo and have been exceptionally well received since opening in 2019 and 2020 respectively, earning a total of seven World Golf Awards and two Luxury Lifestyle Awards.

Vattanac Golf Resort was ranked as the No3 Golf Resort in Asia Pacific by Asia Golf Industry Professionals and, in November 2023, featured in the GOLF.com list of Top 100 Golf Resorts in the World.

Set to be the highlight of the Phnom Penh golfing calendar this year, the Friendship Tournament with Special Guest Appearance by Sir Nick Faldo will take place at Vattanac Golf Resort on the morning of Saturday, November 18, 2023.
