SchneiTec Group, one of the Kingdom’s leading and most reputable renewable energy companies, on January 1 announced it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to work with Huawei Technologies (Cambodia) for the distribution of Huawei Digital Power products and solutions.
These include the popular smart PV inverter, intelligent power storage products and accessories for residential, commercial and industrial solar rooftops.
The cooperation will add significantly to Cambodia’s fast-growing renewable capacity and will further contribute to green energy development and industrial clean electricity demand, as well as enhancing eco-friendly residential living.
“Huawei’s world-class products, solutions and services will help us meet our goals. We chose the Huawei Digital Power smart PV inverter and intelligent power storage because of their superior reliability, proven durability and safety performance in hot and humid environments like Cambodia’s,” said SchneiTec Group executive director Dr Say.
The two parties have been cooperating to deliver a number of successful solar farms in the Kingdom – including one of Cambodia’s largest in Kampong Speu province – accelerating the injection of clean energy into the national grid.
“Huawei aims to use new technologies to transition the energy industry towards carbon neutrality and views Cambodia as being of strategic importance as it seeks to contribute to low-carbon societies powered by smarter digital technologies.
“Huawei has served Cambodia for more than 22 years – we are in Cambodia for Cambodia. We will work closely with our partners and customers together to build a better greener Cambodia,” said Huawei Digital Power Cambodia general manager Edward Hua. PHOTOS SUPPLIED
