On Friday 15, Visa, the global payments technology company, signed memorandum of understanding with Angkor Enterprise to promote tourism to Angkor Wat and Cambodia. Visa cards are now accepted at Angkor Wat, to drive tourism and increase the shift from cash to electronic payments in Cambodia. It will provide visitors with a faster, more secure and more convenient payment experience. As part of the agreement, Visa will be offering a 3 percent discount on admission tickets to Angkor Wat purchased using Visa cards from October until the end of November 2017. Visa cardholders will also be able to enjoy discounts at 50 selected merchants in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap covering dining, shopping, spa & wellness and lodging. Photo by Hong Menea
