Woori Bank Cambodia held a celebratory event presided over by CEO Kim Hong Ju and the management team at the leading financial institution's head office after successfully closing the Talent Incubation Program Generation 1.
The initiative, run between this April and July, supported recent graduates without prior experience via a thorough capacity-building programme to accelerate their professional development at Woori Bank.
The programme aims to provide opportunities for recent graduates passionate about gaining experience in the banking sector.
CEO Kim praised the participants for seizing the opportunity for a successful career at Woori Bank.
"You are special as you have had the chance to learn across the whole range of departments at Woori Bank, which is an amazing opportunity not available to everyone.
"You all were selected to this programme as successful participants, learning a great deal from our financial institution to build your long term career development at Woori Bank,” said Kim.
Generation 1 comprised 45 participants chosen based on their qualifications, with students in their second or later year of college eligible.
The chosen participants underwent a three-month training programme that included participating in Woori Bank Cambodia's New Staff Orientation, as well as training and assignments across departments.
Exclusively applicable to the Talent Incubation Program, Woori Bank will assign all participants according to its career roadmap to prepare them for future managerial positions.
“The Talent Incubation Program is part of succession planning at Woori Bank, with the target fresh graduate students from universities in Cambodia.
“The programme is perfect for anyone passionate about gaining experience through a comprehensive capacity building programme, helping accelerate career growth and successes,” said Kim.
