Zuellig Pharma, Asia’s leading pharmaceutical and healthcare distribution company, and Sanofi, its new strategic partner in Cambodia, together hosted an appreciation dinner in honour of the Kingdom’s pharmacists on September 21.

Held on International World Pharmacists Day, the gala dinner celebrated the Kingdom’s medication experts who play a vital role in making healthcare in Cambodia more accessible, with more than 200 from across the country present.

The event was attended by notable speakers headed by Tejasvi Sharma, Zuellig Pharma general manager, Eav Dararath, representing the Pharmacist Association of Cambodia (PAC), and Dr Vann Mech, chairman of the Lung Association in Cambodia, whose speciality lies in acute bronchitis.

Together they emphasised the importance of good pharmacy practice and promoted the effectiveness of self-care methods by accessing pharmacies for mild symptoms.

For World Pharmacist Day 2022, Zuellig Pharma and Sanofi took the theme “Access to Pharmacists is Access to Self-Care” as they engaged with and expressed gratitude for the long-term partnership with all of Cambodia’s pharmacists.
