The ICRC Mission in Phnom Penh seeks to fill the following position:


Administrative Assistant 1, based in Phnom Penh

Your main responsibilities:
1.Information Management Assistant
• Be a focal point of information management assistant in Cambodia
• Be aware of and explains ICRC protocol, rules for correspondence, document security, filling and intermediary archiving, and how to use standard computer technology
• Ensures compliance with the rules of visual identity in external presentations, letterheads, etc.
• Provide briefing to staff on information management and above-mentioned subjects
• Keeps users update of newly introduced tools when needed
• Trains regularly all users the ICRC notes system/DBS and ensure compliance with all introduced rules and procedures
• Updates general information and guidelines in the reference tools regularly
• Supervises IM tasks (filling/protocol/etc.) carried out by the Secretary / Receptionist
2.Power User Relays
• Participates in a yearly Power Users training to maintain the necessary knowledge
• As a part of Global Support provides up to “second level” user support and troubleshooting to site computer users.
• Is the focal point between site computer users and ICT Bangkok department concerning general ICT related issues
• Provides first level user support and troubleshooting to site computer users
• Installs/reinstall/maintains ICT equipment (computers, printers, NAS drives etc.) independently or in consultation with ICT Bangkok.
• Channels non-standard software requests to Bangkok ICT service
• When needed, synthesizes message from Service Desk or ICT and gives clear explanations in direct to site users
• In charge of ICT Information sharing to site users
Your education and experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent training
• 2 years of experience in a similar function with a humanitarian or development organization
• Very good command at written and spoken English
• Very good at computer skills
• Excellence organizational and methodical skills
• Good at communication skill and customer-oriented focus
Competencies requirements:
• Resourceful, with strong organizational skills and able to fulfil assigned tasks with minimal supervision,
• Strong interest in humanitarian work
• Liaise and in charge of information management and Power User relays in Cambodia
• Maintain contact with services providers
• Ensure the necessary administrative related work
• Ensure good customer service for concerned files
• Organise other administration issues
