Business Development Manager and Project Manager

1. Business Development Manager
2. Project Manager

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

1. Business Development Manager

• Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
• Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
• Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
• Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners’ needs and goals.
• Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

2. Project Manager
• Manage project development from initiation to closure.
• Be accountable for the project results along with project director (PD) or construction manager.
• Work with PD to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
• Complete work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task.
• Provide a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed.
• Clearly communicate expectation to team members and Stakeholders.
• Act as mediator between stakeholders and team members.
• Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project lifecycle.
• Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request forms.
• Determine if external consultants or contractors will be required to complete project plans. If required, recruit and manage appropriate staffing resources.
• Track and report on project milestones and provide status report to PD or construction manager.
• Lead, coach and motivate project team members on a proactive basis.
• Determine how result will be measured and complete a post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved.
• Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution.
• Safely crash unsuccessful or re-prioritized projects.
• Ensure all project documents are safely archived following project completion.

Qualifications and Experiences

1. Business Development Manager
• Degree in Business/Marketing/ or equivalent. 10 years in similar capacity
• Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Energy Level, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism
• Positive and will to learn. Needs to be a team player and has good leadership attitude.
• Bilingual in English. Chinese speaking associates is preferable

2. Project Manager
• PMP certificate is a major asset,
• Familiarity with project management tools and/or software packages.
• Demonstrated leadership managing people,
• Experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment,
• Strategic, operational, and technical building and management skills,
• Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities,
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills,
• Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments.
• Bilingual in English and Khmer to liaise with Cambodian authorities; Chinese is a plus.
