Chief Information Officer

AMK Microfinance Institution Plc. is one of the largest microfinance institutions in Cambodia. AMK serves a large number of over 400,000 customers with more than 1,700 staffs nationwide.

Job Title : Chief Information Officer (Both Cambodian and Expatriate are encourage to apply)
Report to : Chief Executive Officer
Location : Head Office

Job Responsibilities:
♦ Be part of Executive Management in strategy development and implementation process,
♦ Lead IT strategy and operational processes in a way that they align with AMK's business strategy to achieve overall AMK's goal by fostering innovation,
♦ Prioritize the IT initiatives and Coordinate the evaluation and deployment of existing and new IT systems, tools and processes,
♦ Analyze the technology infrastructure and its alignment with business strategy.
♦ Develop and maintain appropriate IT structures to ensure a sustainable response to current and future business needs.
♦ Seek, evaluate and implement appropriate and cost effective investments in IT resources such as staffing, outsourcing, in-house development and purchasing,
♦ Ongoing Risk assessment and course correction on current and future IT systems and infrastructure,
♦ Develop, monitor and evaluate annual capital and operating budgets to ensure they are in line with AMK's business strategy,
♦ Assess and make suggestion on improvement or re-engineering of IT policies, process, infrastructure, security and other aspects of the IT infrastructure, hardware and software.
♦ Monitor, support and develop both internal IT resources as well as any external resources.
♦ Coordinate and facilitate with all stakeholders to define business and system requirement for new system implementation or existing system enhancement,
♦ Review hardware and software purchase and maintenance contracts and recommend the best options for approval.
♦ Establish or review IT policies and procedure including but not limited to
• Service level agreements with end users,
• Key Risk Indicators of each IT system in use,
• Business continuity planning,
• Recovery time objective,
• System security.
♦ Review and Monitor whole IT system and performance,
♦ Supervise recruitment, retention and development of staff to meet AMK's current and future needs.

Qualification and Experiences:
♦ At least Bachelor's Degree in computer science or Business administration or an equivalent qualification. Master degree in any of these fields is preferred.
♦ At least 10 years' experience and 7 years in management level,
♦ Experience in strategic planning and execution,
♦ Considerable experience in business process management,
♦ Substantial experience in the management of data processes, hardware platforms, infrastructure and security,
♦ Proven excellence in project management and of successful project delivery
♦ Ability to apply IT solutions to business challenges in a cost effective manner,
♦ Proven Leadership ability,
♦ Proven ability to set the priority of initiative to align with business need.
♦ Excellent in written and oral communication,
♦ Honesty, excellent interpersonal skill, strong negotiation skill and attention to detail,
♦ Strong ability to present idea in business friendly and user friendly language,
♦ Meticulous approach to analysis, evaluation and problem solving,
♦ Ability to motivate and create a collaborate environment,
♦ Ability to construct business models and write business plans with financial projections.
