  Job Title: Consultancy on Cartography Training to the technical officials of the NIS/MoP Duty Station: Phnom Penh Contract Type: Individual Consultant (National) Deadline: 21 November 2017 (12 Noon Local Time)   Under the supervision of UNFPA Cambodia, the Consultant will undertake the following tasks: Specific Tasks: ♦ Develop and implement a 5 days intensive GIS training programme and develop a user friendly guide of ArcMap. ♦ Provide training to the NIS on digitization including creating and working with vector files, points, lines, polygons and plotting the position of geotagged photographs and estimation of the area in the polygon. ♦ Provide training to the NIS on map book in ArcMap including downloading data from the NRGIS library, setup data driven pages, creating dynamic layout elements and export map book. ♦ 12 working days (December 2017)   Requirements: ♦ Cambodian nationality ♦ Have a Master Degree or equivalent in the field of spatial sciences, geography or Information technology with GIS or relevant combination of education ♦ Minimum 7 years of professional experience in the field of cartography/GIS, and working knowledge of ArcMap and Remote Sensing related software is desirable ♦ Experience in working with and strengthening of national institutes with regard to cartography/GIS and its application in the country or other developing countries is an advantage ♦ Demonstrates integrity by modelling the UN’s values and ethical standards ♦ Be proficient in English and Khmer languages   How to apply: Applications must be supported with a UN Personal History Form (P11) and a detailed CV addressed directly to UNFPA Country Office, Phnom Penh Center, Room 526, Sothearos Blvd. The P11 Form and Terms of Reference can be obtained via email [email protected] or UNFPA Website http://cambodia.unfpa.org/.
