  ChildFund Australia is a member of the ChildFund Alliance – a global network of 11 organisations which assists more than 14 million children and families in 60 countries. ChildFund Cambodia is the representative office of ChildFund Australia – an independent, non-political, non-religious international and child-focused development organisation that works to reduce poverty for children in developing communities. Started in Cambodia in 2007, ChildFund works in partnership with children, their communities, local authorities, civil society organizations, relevant ministries on Education, Child Protection, Health, DRR/ER and Social Emotional and Learning in Svay Rieng, Kratie, Battambang, Prey Veng, and urban Phnom Penh. ChildFund Cambodia is looking for potential candidate to fill up the vacancy posts in the organization as following:  

I-EDUCATION SPECIALIST

The Education Specialist (ES) is responsible for leading, presenting, developing the education program, and enhancing education network both at national and subnational level. You also will be in charge of strengthening technical competencies of program teams and partners, designing and guiding program teams for quality, innovative and comprehensive projects, national level advocacy and coordination with key actors in core aspects of ChildFund Cambodia’s education programs.  

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor degree or higher degree in Education and or equivalent experience; • 5 years experiences in Education sector and program management, implementation, program development, capacity building, training, monitoring and evaluation, and report writing; • Strong experience of working with INGO focused on the education sector in Cambodia or in the region; • Demonstrate ability in conducting assessments, proposal development, and strategic planning and donor relationships; • Experience of working successfully in partnership with national level institution and local partners; • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Khmer.  

DESIRABLE

• Strong experiences in Inclusive Education, Pre and Primary Education; • Strong networking with education sector stakeholders; • Experience of constructive advocacy at national and sub-national levels;
 

II-CHILD PROTECTION SPECIALIST

The Child Protection Specialist is responsible to coordinate and oversee all aspects of ChildFund Cambodia’s organizational activities, ensuring that international standards of child safeguarding are fully understood by staff, partners CSOs and effectively integrated to all of our work. Working alongside ChildFund staff, Child Protection specialist will be involved in program planning, organizing, leading, and monitoring child rights and child protection activities with the overall objective of increasing the protection of children and youth in Cambodia.  

Qualification & Experience:

• Advanced university degree in Social Sciences, Laws, or related field; • 05 years of professional work experience at sub-national, national or international levels in the field of Child Protection; • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a range of actors - from government personnel, ChildFund staff (all levels), communities and sector stakeholders; • Strong understanding of and commitment to sustainable and equitable community development practices; • Ability to discuss and communicate with people on sensitive child protection issues;  

DESIRABLE:

Technical background in child protection and resilience.
 

III-PROJECT MANAGER

As a mid-management position, your prime role is about leading and managing all aspects of project implementation with key government and CSOs stakeholders. You are also accountable for organizational policy compliance, promoting visibility, and assuring project qualities, efficiency and effectiveness. Your role are also includes planning, organizing, budgeting, managing staff, managing activities and making decision with supports from ChildFund Korea staff, and provincial based steering committee.  

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor Degree or higher qualifications are an advantage; • Five years experiences in program management, implementation and development, capacity building, and training • Proven experience of constructive advocacy at national and sub-national levels and strong networking with relevant stakeholders; • Strong understanding and commitment to sustainable and equitable community development practices; • Discussion and communication with people on sensitive Child Safeguarding issues; • Strong awareness of the needs of children, youth, families and communities in Cambodia, particularly at the provincial level in rural and remote communities;  

DESIRABLE:

High-level experience of program management, staff management, coordination and reporting.
 

IV-PARTNERSHIP COORDINATOR

Partnership Coordinator is responsible for leading and overseeing the partnership process across ChildFund Cambodia. S/He is accountable for the structured partnership approach being applied through ensuring all organisational policy compliances, legal processes, documentation and recruitment of partners which includes identification, selection, capacity building assessment, coordination, meeting, relationship management and feedback.  

Qualification & Experience:

• Master degree in development and or equivalent experience; • At least 3 years experiences in partnership management and relationship management with key actors particularly with NGOs, CSOs and government departments. • At least 3 years of experience in program management, implementation, program development, capacity building, training, monitoring and evaluation, budget management, and report writing; • Demonstrated ability in conducting assessments, proposal development, and strategic planning and donor relationships; • Knowledge on financial, human resource, legal and policy compliances aspects • Experience of working successfully in partnership with national level institution and local partners which may include Commune Councils and Child and Youth networks etc.;
