  Conservation International-Greater Mekong Program (CI) has worked in Cambodia since 2002. CI has multiple conservation projects in the Central Cardamom Mountains National Park (CCMNP), Tonle Sap Great Lake, Prey Lang Wildlife Sanctuary, and in the Veun Sai-Siem Pang National Park. CI works in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, other international conservation and development organizations, local non-governmental organizations and the private sector.   Conservation International (CI) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for various positions for the recently awarded five-year USAID Greening Prey Lang project.   The USAID Greening Prey Lang project, in partnership with the Royal Government of Cambodia, aims to improve and maintain the health of forest and freshwater ecosystems within and surrounding the Prey Lang Wildlife Sanctuary by engaging civil society and public entities to work together to consolidate the conservation and sustainable management of the Prey Lang Extended Landscape. To accomplish this, the project provides technical assistance for sustainable landscape management and biodiversity conservation to beneficiaries who depend on ecological services such as clean air and water, biodiversity and food community-based organizations.   I- Finance Coordinator (01 Position) -Based in Phnom Penh Position Responsibilities: • Processing all payments and receipts on timely basis. Checking all claim documents, advance, and acquittal, reimbursement to ensure proper documentation, authorization and approval and to be compliance to CI operation manual before submitted to Senior Finance Coordinator for final review and pass to Operation Manager and Executive Director for approval. Liaising with responsible staff where necessary to ensure propriety of supporting document. • Prepare the monthly financial report to donor • Documentation and Timely entering all payments and receipts into Cash & Bank book and also Business World accounting system. Assist in preparation monthly wire request to HQ under reviewing of Senior Finance Coordinator • Provide support to the finance team to ensure the accurate and timely processing of pay transactions and re-classes. Verify check releases are already paid in Business world before month-end closing. • Conduct site visits of CIC’s project sites for monitoring, audit and inventory of equipment at least twice every fiscal year. Coordinator to provide supporting document and clarification to internal and external auditor. • Provide other tasks that may be assigned by the Senior Finance Coordinator, Operations Manager and Regional Director/GPL CI Project Manager.   Requirements: • University Degree in commerce and/or accounting • At least 3 years experience in accounting or cash management • Knowledge on Business World System • Proven ability to commit set deadlines and accomplish routine tasks • Good oral and written communication skills in English • Good computer skills including Ms Office, and file management • Great attention to detail • Have other administration skill such as organizational skills and time management skill • Experience with USAID rules and regulation   II- Biodiversity Conservation Field Officer (01 position) -Based in Kampong Thom Province Position Responsibilities: • Work with the Sn. Biodiversity Conservation Officer and the Landscape Manager and biodiversity team assistants to develop and deliver monthly and annual work plans for the biodiversity team • Work with the Sn. Biodiversity Conservation Officer and the Landscape Manager and biodiversity team assistants to design and implement routine biodiversity and habitat surveys in and around the PLWS protected area. • Use Camera traps to conduct wildlife survey, and estimate density and population of some key species, and works with other research activities under the project. • Ensure that the community ranger teams implement ranger-based monitoring (SMART) techniques to collect observation data on wildlife and human activity in protected areas • Ensure the inventory, care and maintenance of all wildlife monitoring equipment (e.g. camera traps, GPS devices, cameras, binoculars, etc.) • Assist the Sn. Biodiversity Field Officer and Landscape Manager with the analysis of wildlife survey data and production of wildlife survey technical reports. • Any other work assignments, duties, and/or functions as CI or its management may designate or instruct in the course of its operation, which may include assignments, duties, and/or functions that vary from the above   Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Biodiversity Conservation, Ecology, Natural Resources Management, Forestry, Climate Change, Development Studies, or other relevant development field, • 2-3 years of experience in natural resources management, biodiversity conservation, forestry, capacity building, and local stakeholder issues. • Strong interest in protecting Cambodia’s natural environment • Fluent spoken and written Khmer and intermediate spoken and written English • Verbal communication and teamwork skills • Knowledge in computer of Microsoft Office. • Physically fit and able to trek and camp in rural/forest conditions over multiple days • Able to ride a motorbike under difficult field conditions • Local knowledge of Kampong Thom province and Prey Lang Wildlife Sanctuary • Willingness to obtain new skills and attention to detail   III- Governance Field Officer (01 position) -Based in Kampong Thom Province Position Responsibilities: • Working with the Governance Team Leader and other team members to support the development of zoning plans for protected areas in the landscape by coordinating activities relating to government, community, CSO and private-sector engagement. • Provide necessary technical support for mapping, village boundary negotiations and village discussions. • Ensure capacity building and management support is provided to the establishment of new and strengthening of existing CPAs to ensure they achieve their forest/wildlife conservation objectives • Assist to train and/or facilitate CPA committee members • Collaborate with the livelihoods and governance teams to make sure that CPA members are in adherence to the PA law, regulation, conservation principles and community by-laws • In collaboration with supervisor’s support donor specific data entry and narrative reporting requirements. • Any other work assignments, duties, and/or functions as CI or its management may designate or instruct in the course of its operation, which may include assignments, duties, and/or functions that vary from the above.   Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources Management, Forestry, Climate Change, Development Studies, or other relevant development field, • 2-3 years of experience in natural resources management, land or forest governance, capacity building, and local stakeholder issues, • Fluent spoken and written Khmer and intermediate spoken and written English • Verbal communication and teamwork skills • Knowledge in computer of Microsoft Office. • Knowledge and experience on CF or CPA, and • Strong interest in protecting Cambodia’s natural environment • Physically fit and able to trek and camp in rural/forest conditions over multiple days • Able to ride a motorbike under difficult field conditions • Local knowledge of Kampong Thom province and Prey Lang Wildlife Sanctuary • Willingness to obtain new skills and attention to detail   IV- Governance Team Leader (01 position) -Based in Kampong Thom Province Position Responsibilities: • Working with the Landscape Manager, and the Greening Prey Lang Governance Manager Lead and other Technical Advisors and team members to develop and deliver monthly (incl. budgets) and annual work plans for the governance team. • Supervise, mentor and train all governance team members (Governance Field Officer and assistants) to implement monthly and annual work plans • Work closely with PDoE and PDoAFF for sustainable land and forest management, and PA management. • Coordinate and communicate with DoE Offices, local authorities and MoE to assist communities to establish CPAs and relevant institutions according to the laws and guidelines • Ensure capacity building and management support is provided to the establishment of new and strengthening of existing CPAs to ensure they achieve their forest/wildlife conservation objectives • Collaborate with the livelihoods and governance teams to make sure that CPA members are in adherence to the PA law, regulation, conservation principles and Lang Wildlife Sanctuary • Willingness to obtain new skills and attention to detail   V- SMART Law Enforcement Officer (02 positions) -Based in Kampong Thom Province Position Responsibilities: • Work with the SMART LE Team Leader with the training of law enforcement patrol team members to collect ranger-based monitoring data (field notebook, Cybertracker, GPS, camera) • Undertake frequent/weekly law enforcement patrols to assist with data collection and ensure adherence with protocols/procedures (Standard Operating Procedure dependent) • Support the SMART LE Team Leader with the organization and implementation of field logistics • Assist with communicating with the Provincial Department of Environment in the planning of LEM/SMART support activities • Ensure the inventory, care and maintenance of all SMART related patrol equipment (Cyberteachers, GPSs, cameras, etc.) • Work with SMART Field assistants on SMART data collection • Any other work assignments, duties, and/or functions as CI or its management may designate or instruct in the course of its operation, which may include assignments, duties, and/or functions that vary from the above.   Requirements: • Bachelor’s in natural resource management, Geographical Information Systems, geography, or forestry • 2-3 years of experience in natural resources management, GIS, forestry, capacity building, and local stakeholder issues. • Strong interest in protecting Cambodia’s natural environment • Able to read maps and use technology (e.g. SMART, GIS, cameras, computers, smartphones) • Verbal communication and teamwork skills • Attention to detail • Physically fit and able to trek and camp in rural/forest conditions over multiple days • Able to ride a motorbike under difficult field conditions • Fluent spoken and written Khmer and intermediate spoken and written English • Local knowledge of Kampong Thom province and Prey Lang Wildlife Sanctuary • Willingness to obtain new skills
