| - Develop the company’s inventory management strategy; - Manage and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory; - Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting/ inventory accuracy checks; - Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete/redundant raw materials to maximize the availability of working capital; - Ensure that goods inward/stock control department is well organized and controlled to efficiently support sales and the goals of the business; - Ensure the incoming the product is receipted and managed properly according to company procedure; - Ensure the material are ready and available for sales as and when required; - Ensure that any material which is late or holding up sales for whatever reason are chased and followed up until received; - Ensure sub-contract processes are received back; - Provide routine management information on inventory performance; - Validate the cost of sale as part of the month end close; - Conduct analysis on cost of sale and material usage variance in a weekly and monthly basis; - Perform other duties as required by immediate Manager. | Technical qualification - Bachelor degree in finance and accounting or related fields; - Ideally possess the relevant professional qualification and/or suitable background experience in inventory management or purchasing; - Have detailed understanding of MRP and inventory control/ management system; - Strong analytical and problem solving; - Experience continuous improvement; - Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer focused group environment; - Possess excellent personal organization and business administration skills in accordance with modern best practice methods; - Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality; - Willing to learn new thing, improve and adapt. Personality qualification - Self starter, team player, high responsible and patient. - Dynamic, friendly and good interpersonal skills. |
