VACANCIES ANNOUNCEMENT
Duty station: Siem Pang and Phnom Penh

BirdLife International is a non-government organization dedicated to the conservation of biodiversity. In partnership with the Government of Cambodia, BirdLife has established a Cambodia Programme that implements nationwide conservation action focusing on birds, their sites and habitats. A focus of that programme is supporting the management of Western Siem Pang Forest (WSPF), which is located in Siem Pang district of Stung Treng Province. Western Siem Pang Forest project of BirdLife International is looking for suitable applicants to fill the following positions:
1: Livelihoods Project Officer Requirement: • A degree in social sciences, including development studies or geography. • A good understanding of the development scene in Cambodia. • At least three years experiences in similar position • Fluent spoken and written Khmer. • Good spoken and written English.
2: Biodiversity Project Officer Requirement: • A higher degree in biological sciences or geography. • A good understanding of the conservation scene in Cambodia. • At least three years experiences in similar position • Fluent spoken and written Khmer. • Very good spoken and written English.
3: Livelihood Technical Advisor Requirement: • A higher degree in social sciences, including development studies or geography. • A good understanding of the development scene in Cambodia. • At least five years experiences in similar position • Very good spoken and written Khmer and English
4: Law Enforcement Technical Advisor • Three years of practical experience in advising and or training in conservation and biodiversity protection law enforcement, or related field, preferably two years of which should have been in Cambodia or another Greater Mekong region country. • BSc. in natural resources management, environmental or conservation management, and a relevant law enforcement background. • Experience of working with government staff in an advisory and training role. • Fluency in written and spoken English, Khmer language is an advantage.
