With careful daily observation, one will realise that the international students pool in Cambodia has increased. Shin Jhin Oh is telling us about his hobby during his 5-year stay in Cambodia.

This 31-year-old graduate majored in architecture in Incheon, Korea. He is now a senior student in English literature at the Institute of Foreign Language of the Royal University of Phnom Penh.

“My father works here and I come with him,” says Shin Jhin Oh. “He’s left now but I’m still here because I work for one local private institute.”

His first time in Cambodia was a bit difficult but he achieved adaptation by observing people’s way of life in Cambodia.

“I found out I could live hear happily,” he says enthusiastically.

“Khmer food sampling is one of my hobbies. I can eat everything except Brohok (Khmer Cheese).”

All historic sites are common knowledge to him.

“I like Angkor Wat temples and Bayon temples as well. I like strolling around the Royal Palace. The weather here is quite different here. It is a bit hot but tolerable.”

On a last note he said that Cambodia was an interesting place much better than any other place he has ever been to.
