Prime Minister Hun Sen on April 24 signed a sub-decree opening a Cambodian embassy in Brazil.

According to the sub-decree, said the embassy has a residence in the capital Brasilia and will be headed by a chief of mission with the rank of ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary.

The makeup of other diplomats employed at the embassy, its technical officers and other staff will be determined according to the actual work requirements and the funding system for diplomats.

In the sub-decree, Hun Sen also advised the minister in charge of the Council of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Minister of Economy and Finance, Minister of Public Works and Transport and the rest of the government to implement forthwith.
