Asian Development Bank president Tadao Chino and the Minister of Economy and Finance,

Keat Chhon signed four loan agreements for Cambodia amounting to $92 million on November

10.

They are for agriculture development, north-west irrigation and a transmission line

to deliver electricity to Phnom Penh from Vietnam.

The power line will also provide reliable medium-voltage supplies for private operators

to invest in, operate and connect rural end-users and improve the accessibility of

the poor by reducing high upfront connection costs.
