The Siem Reap Provincial Administration on April 13 placed another area around the Wat A'tvear market in Cranh village of Siem Reap town's Siem Reap commune in lockdown after a number of Covid-19 transmission cases were traced back there, a day after it shut the Phsar Krom market area.

Residents are not allowed to leave their homes except for shopping for food and other necessities, in which case no more than two family members are allowed.

Commute to and from work and for business purpose in the lockdown area is exempted if permitted by the authorities.

Residents can leave the area for medical reasons and other emergencies if allowed by the authorities.

Gatherings are prohibited except among family members in the same home, funeral rites as permitted by the authorities and sample collections for Covid-19 testing by health workers.

Non-essential business activities in area are also banned amid the lockdown.
