Out Chhon, the Under Secretary for Ministry of Economy and Finance, was proposed

as a candidate for the new post of Auditor General. The National Assembly rejected

a previous candidate for the post last year. The creation of a National Auditing

Authority has long been a key reform plank requested by donors.
