A Phnom Penh bar owner was sentenced to six years in prison for prostituting his

employees to foreign customers, a court official said on December 26. French national

Bruno Fumat, 52, was convicted of forcing seven Vietnamese waitresses into sexual

relations with customers, Kry Sok Y, a court prosecutor, told the Associated Press.

Fumat's Vietnamese girlfriend Thach Va, 32, was also sentenced to six years in prison,

for recruiting the girls. Fumat was arrested in June.
