Residents of Phnom Penh’s Meanchey district survey the damage wrought by a fire that burned down seven houses on Monday morning. Mau Saroeun, the police chief of Stung Meanchey commune, where the fire occurred, said it began at 9:30am and was extinguished by 10:15am, and that there were no injuries. He added that officials had yet to determine what caused the blaze.
