The
Belgian branch of Medicins sans Frontieres will close up its operations
in Cambodia at the end of July, according to Country Director Philippe
Berneau, who said the decision was made by the group's head office in
Brussels for operational - not financial - reasons. "Today, Cambodia is
a stable country for us and we feel there are more urgent needs in
other countries," he said. He added that the French branch of Medecins
sans Frontieres would continue its operations in the Kingdom.
