Officials blamed a lack of fresh air for causing dozens of women to faint at a Russey Keo garment factory. Fifty-nine workers fainted last Thursday and on Monday at the Golden Mile factory in Kilometre 15 commune. The district's deputy governor, Ly Rosamy, said it was because the factory's windows had been blocked, restricting air flow. Earlier this month, officials blamed overuse of pesticides after 130 workers fainted at the Maurea Garment Corp factory in nearby Svay Pak commune.
