Prime Minister Hun Sen criticised Radio Free Asia on Friday after the firing of five staff on September 25. “RFA did not clearly explain what happened internally,” Hun Sen said at the second Mekong-Japan Foreign Ministers meeting held in Siem Reap. Radio Free Asia’s Khmer-language service director Kem Sos said in a September 27 statement that “in reference to specific questions about the change ... RFA does not comment”.
