US Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte is scheduled to arrived today in Phnom Penh, where he will hold talks with Cambodian leaders, including Prime Minister Hun Sen. He is to also preside over a signing ceremony for US$24 million in funding for economic development, according to a statement from the US embassy. The visit follows last year's lifting of a ban on direct aid from the US to Cambodia.
