PURSAT provincial police on Saturday arrested a 35-year-old man in Bakan district on suspicion of stealing eight buffalo. Pen Toung, Bakan district police chief, said the accused has been a prime suspect in previous buffalo thefts. “Local police saw the buffalo wandering unattended in a field, where they ate grass and stomped on villagers’ rice plantations,” Pen Toung said.
