The Ministry of Health on April 27 reported three more deaths from Covid-19 and another 508 transmission cases linked to the February 20 community outbreak.

The latest deceased patients are all Cambodians aged 39 to 77.

Among the new 508 active cases are 11 Chinese, one Thai and 47 Indonesian nationals, with the rest being Cambodians including a two-year-old child.

Phnom Penh still ranks first with the most cases recorded at 249, followed by Kandal at 135; Banteay Meanchey at 73; Preah Sihanouk at 47; two each in Takeo and Prey Veng; and one in Kampong Speu.

The ministry also reported 127 recoveries, all but one of which were linked to the February 20 outbreak.

As of April 27, Cambodia had recorded a total of 11,063 Covid-19 cases, with 7,270 receiving ongoing treatment and 82 fatalities.
