The Ministry of Health on April 29 reported three more deaths from Covid-19 and a whopping 880 new transmission cases linked to the February 20 community outbreak.

The latest deceased patients are all Cambodians aged 23 to 64, bringing the toll to 91.

Phnom Penh reported the most cases at 518, followed by Preah Sihanouk at 187; Kandal at 73; Kampong Cham at 39; Banteay Meanchey at 36; Kampong Chhnang at three; Prey Veng at two; and one each in Pursat, Koh Kong, Siem Reap and Tbong Khmum.

The ministry also reported 288 recoveries linked to the February 20 outbreak.

As of April 29, Cambodia had recorded a total of 12,641 Covid-19 cases, with 8,119 receiving ongoing treatment and 91 fatalities.
