The government has put the Cambodian Digital Government Policy 2022-2035 into use, in a bid to create a more conducive environment for the development of the digital socio-economic landscape.
The 14-year policy purportedly envisions a digital government that improves quality of life and public trust through more effective provision of public services, according to the 97-page document obtained by The Post on February 4.
The policy aims to establish a smart government underpinned by an interoperable ecosystem of digital infrastructure and technologies that modernise governance structures and guide reforms in all sectors, in a transparent manner that promotes public confidence.
