After almost six months of pre-trial detention, the Military Court will hear the

case against opposition parliamentarian Cheam Channy on August 8, said his lawyer,

Moa Sophearith.

Channy was arrested on February 3 on charges of organized crime, fraud and raising

a rebel militia for the Sam Rainsy Party.
